Ferryman Ale is made by the Exeter Brewery which has taken over from the Topsham and Exminster Brewery, a small brewery that started production in 2003.  The brewery is situated half way between Topsham and Exminster in a former Royal Air Force radar station in the midst of the Exminster Marshes RSPB reserve.
